Pressroom Labs, Inc. ("Pressroom," "we," or "us") provides the Pressroom platform for managing WordPress editorial workflows. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we keep it safe.
Information we collect
Account data
Email, name, profile photo, and authentication tokens needed to sign you in.
Workspace data
Connected WordPress site URLs, encrypted Application Passwords, drafts, AI runs, audit log entries, and team members you invite.
Usage data
Pages viewed, features used, error reports, and IP-derived approximate location, used to improve the product and detect abuse.
How we use your information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Pressroom platform.
- To authenticate you and authorize actions on your workspace.
- To send you transactional email (security alerts, billing, review notifications).
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not use your content to train AI models.
- We do not share your WordPress credentials with any third party.
How we share information
We share data only with sub-processors who help us run the platform — hosting, analytics, customer support, and AI model providers. A current list is available on request. All sub-processors are contractually bound to GDPR-equivalent terms.
Data retention
We retain workspace data for as long as your account is active. You can delete drafts, AI runs, and audit log entries at any time. After account deletion, we permanently remove personal data within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with similar laws, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Email privacy@pressroom.app and we will respond within 30 days.
International transfers
Pressroom is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US under Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Children
Pressroom is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
